A Delta state-based father of five, Austin Segun, has been banished from the Eruemukohwarien community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state after it was discovered that he tied his 13-year-old son, Tobi, to a burglar-proof for three days because a Church leader said the boy was a wizard. According to Vanguard, Tobi was rescued by members of the vigilante group in the community who heard him whimpering at about 2am. Recounting how he was discovered, one of the members of the vigilante group who spoke on condition of anonymity said “Immediately, we alerted the community Youth Chairman and others. When we gained access into the house, we saw the boy alone, tied to the window protector while his hands were tied behind him. Suspected armed robbers killed two Customs officers, a Chief Superintendent of Customs and Assistant Superintendent of Customs in Shargalle Dogonhawa area of Katsina State. The attack occurred late last night. The slain officers have been identified as CSC Maidamma Usman Yabo and ASC Nuruddeen Babandi(pictured above) According to reports, the deceased officers ran into the armed robbers while they were patrolling the road. The officer in charge of surveillance, Daura Federal Operation Unit, Hassan Kangiwa, survived the attack.

12 inmates escaped from the Walker County Jail in Jasper, Alabama on Sunday evening, leading to a massive manhunt and the recapturing of eight of them, authorities said. Walker County Jail officials said that 12 inmates escaped at around 9:30 p.m. local time. Authorities have not said how the inmates were able to escape the prison.                              A Swedish man who has been craving to increase the size of his penis because of humiliation died duringa recent penis enlargement surgery performed at a private plastic surgery clinic in Stockholm, Sweden, the Journal of Forensic Sciences reported. The surgery which was considered a safe procedure, involved transferring unwanted fat from the patient’s belly to his penis. This marks the first known death from penis enlargement surgery, the journal reports. The Surgeons were said to have first performed a penile elongation on the man, incising the base of his penis to loosen a ligament. They then began the enlargement process by injecting two fluid ounces of fat cells into the patient’s penis.
