British Airways has sacked a stewardess who posted a racist Snapchat rant attacking Nigerian passengers. MailOnline reports that the lady, who had been identified as Joanne Wickenden, got the sack after a two-hour meeting with her bosses. Wickenden sparked outrage after recording the racist clip in her BA uniform before flying from London Heathrow to Abuja on Friday. In a statement on Tuesday, the airline said, “She no longer works for British Airways. We expect the utmost professionalism from our staff when they are representing British Airways.” The 23-year-old, who wants to be an actress, told friends, “I am not a racist,” and claimed the sickening video was “just a joke.” She told MailOnline, “I have been set up by another BA employee. They were encouraging me, egging me on to say things. They were recording me and sent it around to our friends. “I don’t want to fly anymore.’ A friend said the unnamed employee wanted Wickenden to “impersonate what goes on on the flight.”...

France is about to make it a criminal offence to harass someone in a public place and that includes bugging women for their phone number and wolf-whistling at a woman. France President Emmanuel Macron pledged during his campaign to end the culture of harassment and he is following through as a legislation is being drawn up to eliminate France's macho culture. Several recent surveys have revealed almost all French women have been harassed in the street, on public transport or elsewhere at some point. Marlène Schiappa, the gender equality under-secretary, has set up a working party to thrash out the details of the legislation. With four other MPs, she is working out a legal definition of street harassment and deciding what penalties offenders will face. Details of what will be made illegal are yet to be made public, but are likely to include wolf-whistling as Miss Schiappa has previously spoken out about it. A staff cleaning a Bangkok to Phitsanulok tour bus made the horrific discovery on September 20, while they were trying to extract sanitary towels and tissues from a waste pipe. They were shocked to see two little feet belonging to the fetus of a boy aged about four to five months. Police and medics were called to the garage of the Phitsanulok Yan Yon company and the baby was removed from the pipe. Investigators also found blood on the seats of C12 and D12 downstairs on the double decker vehicle. The seats were registered to the same name and police are now in the process of contacting that person to see if they are involved.

It has now become commonplace to see people livestreaming the most bizarre things, even suicides. A man livestreamed himself bleeding from his neck after he was shot supposedly by a rival gang. In the video, the man is seen riding in a car on his way to the hospital. Blood was oozing out of his wounds and rather than save his strength, he talked through the recording. Addressing the people who shot him, the bleeding man said he is no snitch and would not report them to the authorities but he will make sure they pay for what they did to him. "You did that sh** bro you gonna shoot me ma ni**** you f****** dead bro," he threatened as he revealed he was on his way to the hospital but will exact revenge eventually. A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Johnson Eduebor drowned in a boat accident. According to his friend Nelson Arebanmhen, who posted the photos, the boat he was traveling in capsized. He drowned because he was not wearing a life jacket. A mum set up a hidden camera after noticing bruises on her nine-month-old daughter's body and was shocked when she watched it only to find her nanny violently throwing her baby into a cot. The nanny is facing charges of attempted murder after the footage was shown to the police. Mum Annemarie Theron said she was devastated when she watched the video which shows the family nanny manhandling her daughter Laila and tossing her into her cot like a rag doll in their home in Namibia. Annemarie told Netwerk24: "It was very emotional watching it. I refused to sleep, eat or drink for a couple of days afterward. It’s difficult to imagine how long this has been going on for. The decomposing body of a missing Kansas man, Randy Potter, sat in his work vehicle for eight months in an airport parking lot 45 minutes from his home, while his family, police and friends searched relentlessly for him. After his body was found, his family asked why no one found it sooner.  Potter had been dead by suicide the entire time his family and police were searching for him. The body of Potter, age 53 when he was last seen alive on the morning of Jan. 17, was so decomposed in the vehicle parked at Kansas City International Airport that his gender and race were not immediately clear to investigators who later identified it. According to Lenexa Police spokesman, Danny Chavez, when Randy Potter was reported missing: “There was not at the time of the report any indication that he was endangered or suicidal”. “He just had not shown up to work and family had not heard from him. There were no suspicious circumstances or foul place suspected....

An African national said to be a Zambian studying in China is currently battling for his life in a Beijing hospital after he was brutally beaten with metal bars by some Chinese men who accused him of having a sexual affair with one of their group member's girlfriend. According to ZambianWatchdog,  the victim identified as Chabala was ambushed in a night club last Saturday after staying with the same girl since Thursday. "The information has since been communicated to the Zambian embassy in China.   A thief who was caught stealing car batteries was rescued yesterday from being lynched by an angry mob after they doused him with petrol and almost set him ablaze in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital. Uganda's Health State Minister, Sarah Opendi, disguised herself and visited the China-Naguru hospital where she discovered patients have to bribe hospital staff to get treatment. Two of the nurses who were to attend to her, asked her for a bribe before she could see a doctor. According to reports from Ugandan dailies, the doctor and even lab attendants also asked for bribes when she saw them. They have all been arrested. See more photos below

A six-year-old pupil allegedly committed suicide at school in Seshego outside Polokwane, South Africa on Tuesday . Mohau Mamaregane, a Grade 1 learner at Dorothy Langa Primary School, was found hanging from a noose (Pictured) on a recycling bag. The pupil had asked to go the toilet. When he did not return to class, another pupil was sent to look for him. The school alleged that the fellow pupil found him with his head inside a recycling bin. He was rushed to a local clinic where he was certified dead. The family is seeking answers after mysterious marks were discovered on his neck. The boy's mother, Rosina Mamaregane, told Sowetan that her son "had bruises on his neck which indicated that a rope had been used to strangle him".
