Counsel to the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kani, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has alleged that his client has been abducted and probably killed during the recent face-off between members of the secessionist group and the Military had in Imo and Rivers state recently. In a statement released yesterday, Ejiofor said since the September 14th "invasion" of Nnamdi Kanu's home in Umuahia, Abia state by some military officers, he has not been able to communicate with him. The lawyer claimed that the whereabouts of Kanu is yet unknown by him nor members of his family. According to Ejiofor, Kanu might have been killed during the crossfire that occurred on the day of the "invasion".
