5 Top Boko Haram Commanders killed in a new Military operation




The Nigerian Army in a joint operation with the Nigerian Air Force has killed five top Boko Haram commanders in the North-east region.
In a statement issued by Sani Usman, who is the spokesperson of the Nigerian Army, he confirmed that a large number of the terrorists were killed, including five commanders of the group.
‘‘The key Boko Haram terrorists Ameers neutralized within the week during the joint Artillery and Nigerian Air Force air bombardments include; Abu Dujana, Man Tahiru (Deputy to Boko Haram terrorist group Hisba leader), Man Chari, Malam Abdullahi (left) Abu Sa’ad (Right) and Goni Bamanga.”

According to him, the operation was carried out based on received information about the location of some suspected top Boko Haram terrorists’ leaders.
During the operation, Usman said the Nigerian Army artillery using Multi-Barrel Rocket Launchers lobbed many rockets over the suspected location the terrorists’ leaders were hiding.
